Thrive's virtual IOP treats veterans and military family members 18 and older who need more than weekly therapy but do not need round-the-clock care.

Does Thrive accept TRICARE?

Yes. Thrive is in network with TRICARE and most major commercial plans. We verify benefits before the first session.

Who can be referred?

Adults 18 and older in Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas, including veterans and military family members.

Does Thrive treat trauma and PTSD?

Yes. Trauma and PTSD are among the conditions we treat, with approaches such as EMDR alongside group and individual sessions.

Is treatment confidential?

Yes. Thrive follows HIPAA and shares information about a patient only with their written consent.

Can treatment work around a work schedule?

Yes. Sessions run on weekday evenings, from home.

How quickly can someone start?

Across 28 admissions from February to September 2026, the median time from referral to IOP admission was 8 days.

How do I make a referral?

Use our secure online form or call our nationwide admissions line, (561) 203-6085, open 24/7. You can also fax referrals to (949) 695-4744. Have the patient's name, date of birth, contact details and insurance ready, plus a short note on what they need.

What happens if a patient's condition worsens during treatment?

They are never on their own. Our 24/7 crisis line is available throughout treatment, and their treatment team reassesses the level of care. If they need more support than IOP, we help arrange it.
