FAQs
Your questions answered
Will I get updates on my patient's progress?
Yes. With your patient's written consent, we share progress updates during treatment and let you know when they finish.
Does Thrive coordinate with my team during the transition?
Yes. Refer before discharge and our admissions team will work with you on timing. With the patient's consent, we can receive records and coordinate with your clinicians and their outside providers.
Does Thrive treat substance use?
Thrive treats adults whose mental health needs come with a co-occurring substance use condition. We do not provide detox or medically supervised withdrawal, so those should be complete before IOP starts.
How quickly can someone start?
Across 28 admissions from February to September 2026, the median time from referral to IOP admission was 8 days.
Who does Thrive treat?
Adults 18 and older in Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas, living with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, OCD and more. If you are not sure someone is a fit, our admissions team can help.
Is Thrive in network with insurance?
Thrive is in network with most major commercial plans and TRICARE. We verify benefits before the first session, so there are no coverage surprises. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
How do I make a referral?
Use our secure online form or call our nationwide admissions line, (561) 203-6085, open 24/7. You can also fax referrals to (949) 695-4744. Have the patient's name, date of birth, contact details and insurance ready, plus a short note on what they need.
What if Thrive is not the right fit?
If IOP is not the right level of care, we help find the next step, so care does not fall through.
What happens if a patient's condition worsens during treatment?
They are never on their own. Our 24/7 crisis line is available throughout treatment, and their treatment team reassesses the level of care. If they need more support than IOP, we help arrange it.
