It offers the structure and community of a clinical program with the flexibility to keep living your life while you heal. Oscar Health behavioral health benefits are administered through Optum. Most Oscar commercial plans cover intensive outpatient care, and cover virtual attendance on the same terms as in person.

Does Oscar Health cover virtual IOP?

In most cases, yes. Oscar Health commercial plans generally cover intensive outpatient care as an outpatient behavioral health benefit, administered through Optum, and virtual attendance is covered the same way as in person care on most plans. We verify your benefits for free before you start. Thrive accepts commercial plans only. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
