Most Cigna plans we see are employer sponsored, and they work the same way. Your employer chooses the plan design, which affects your deductible and copay, but not whether intensive outpatient care is covered. We check your specific plan before you start.
Does Cigna cover treatment for depression?
Yes. Cigna plans cover depression treatment as part of their mental health benefits. Intensive outpatient care is covered when it is the right level of care, which our clinicians confirm in a short assessment.
Does Cigna cover treatment for anxiety?
Yes. Cigna plans cover treatment for anxiety disorders, including panic disorder and social anxiety, as part of their mental health benefits.
Does Cigna cover trauma and PTSD treatment?
Yes. Cigna plans cover treatment for PTSD and trauma-related conditions. Our program is trauma-informed and includes EMDR where it fits your plan of care.
Do you accept Cigna Medicare or Medicaid plans?
Not at this time. Thrive accepts Cigna commercial plans only. If you have a Medicare or Medicaid plan, our admissions team can point you toward programs that accept it.
